I received a Liebester award

"...The Liebster Blog Award is given to upcoming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. The Meaning; Liebster is German and means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing and welcome."

The wonderful Natalia from "Natalia et la mode" gave me this awards and it means a lot. It's wonderful how new/small fashion bloggers are supporting each other. Please, go check her beautiful blog, you won't regret it.

Now, I'm going to answer the question that she asked me when giving me the award (click READ MORE) to see them.

1.- How do you relate to fashion?

Fashion has always been a big part of my life since my whole family is obsessed with fashion. Especially my father. Still now that I'm 20 with a little money and a big fashion obsession, he puts my closet to shame. Fashion has always been for me both a means to express my personality and a way to show the world what kind of a person you are. That's what I learnt from my Dad; because he's so elegant and detail-oriented, this is someone you will want to work with, discuss with ... nobody wants to appear neglected!

2.- What has changed in blogging from the moment you started to now?

I started this blog three weeks ago, so not much has changed from then. But this is not my first blog or first site. I've been creating websites since I was 13. I'd say that the one thing that changed a lot is the number of bloggers (which keeps increasing) and the quality of the content. We have better quality cameras, tons of tools and social media that maybe we didn't have back in the days!

3.- Share your own concept of style.

Style is a personal interpretation of something creative. It's often used to talk about someone's writing but it applies to everything artistic, to me. Your style is what makes you unique, what is special about you. It is your own, personal creative view. Style rimes with individuality. There is no such thing as two exact same styles.

4.- Why do you like fashion?

I like fashion because it's fun. Fashion is a way to express who you are or what you're feeling at the moment. It's a real means of expression. There is a rare diversity in fashion - even with all these trends.

5.- According to you, what does the fashion world need? 

To be a little more down-to-earth sometimes. People who like fashion or who work in the fashion industry are always being called superficial and sometimes they deserve it. It's ok to be a little superficial sometimes, we all need to be, but some people in fashion go to extremes and are being ridiculous. I wish that could change.

6.- What is the difference that you want to share with your readers?

I think my blog is different because it's mine. And there is no other ME with a blog on the internet. We're all unique and so should be our blogs! What I also insist on sharing with my readers is my conception of fashion and the fact that having a passion for fashion does not mean your shallow. On the contrary, fashion can be very deep.

7.- What is your favorite fashion place?

My closet!! haha. More seriously, I would say the streets. It's very simple but living in Paris, you get to see so many different, original, unique styles just by looking at people. The whole city is just one huge fashion place!

8.- How do you define elegance?

Elegance is refinement and sophistication. Elegance is the opposite of vulgarity. But most of all, elegance has to be natural. True elegance can't be faked. It's a form of charisma that some people were born with - it's not all about clothes because a truly elegant person could look so even in the simplest outfit!

9.- Define your styling process for a shoot.

I haven't really started that yet so I can't really say. But I have an idea of how I'd proceed. I would simply do what I do every morning: take a look at the weather, think about what I'm going to do during that day and most importantly, determine what is my daily mood. I will then choose the outfit that fits all these elements. As for the scenery, if I'm lucky enough to get to take pics outside, I would shoot either at a place that I love/regularly go to or at a place that I recently spotted and fall in love with.

10.- What experiences have taught you the most about managing a fashion blog?

This is way too soon for me to answer such a question as I'm just getting started!

11.- Which social media do you prefer to interact with your readers? 

TWITTER. I've been using twitter for over 3 years now and I'm addicted. Checking my tweets is one of the first things I do in the morning!
